Jim Castagna, CPA

EDUCATION

Jim grew up in Southern Illinois where he lived until graduating from Southern Illinois Univeristy in 1965. He then served in the Air Force from 1965-1969 during which he was stationed in Oklahoma and Texas.

Jim became a CPA in 1971 after working for Price Waterhouse in Ft. Worth and later Tandy Corp. in Ft. Worth.  He moved to Seymour, Texas in 1974 and began work in tax accounting with some small audits.  Jim and Jeff Gregg purchased the Seymour and Haskell practices in June 1993.

ORGANIZATIONS & ACTIVITIES

Jim's hobbies include golfing and coin collecting.

CLIENT SERVICES

Jim currently does taxes, audits, and some peer reviews. He is primarily interested in HUD audits, small cities, probation audits, escrow audits and tax work.

FAMILY

Jim and his wife Rosemary married in 1969, and now live in Seymour. They have 5 children and 9 grandchildren.
